Mostaganem was awarded in November 2005 at 100,000 m3/day to the Inima and Aqualia consortium for 100 to 140 million dollars, on a build, own and operate basis with a 25-year operation and maintenance contract and a 51 per cent foreign to 49 per cent state split; the plant as built is twice that capacity, so the 2005 price band does not describe it.
